About the role:
As a Content Marketing Manager, you will own the content engine that drives awareness, education, and demand for the Ambient.ai Platform. You will run our blog, social media, webinar, and website programs, lead our SEO, AEO, and GEO efforts, and own day-to-day PR. You will craft compelling stories across these channels, translating complex AI and physical security concepts into clear, buyer-focused narratives. You will collaborate closely with product marketing, demand generation, and design to build a content program that fuels the pipeline and reinforces our category leadership.
What you’ll do:
Develop and execute content marketing strategies that build Ambient.ai’s authority in Agentic Physical Security, increase brand visibility, and drive qualified pipeline
Own the blog program end to end, from topic ideation and content creation to publishing and promotion across owned, email, and social channels
Own the social media program, from content creation and publishing to performance reporting, including managing our social tools and our employee advocacy program
Own the webinar program end to end, from topic ideation and speaker coordination to event orchestration, promotion, and post-event repurposing
Own SEO, AEO, and GEO, including keyword and topic strategy, structuring content for search and LLM citation, and tracking visibility across search engines and generative platforms
Create compelling content for other formats and channels, including thought leadership articles, white papers, case studies, solution briefs, email, and newsletters
Research industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activity, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to create relevant, impactful content that supports business goals
Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI, to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations
Own day-to-day PR, from media outreach and byline placement to rapid response, partnering with freelance writers as needed
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
4+ years of content marketing experience in a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology company; experience writing about AI, security, or infrastructure is a strong plus
Hands-on experience running blog and social media programs, ideally with a social publishing tool such as Ordinal, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite
Experience supporting webinars or virtual events, from speaker coordination through promotion
Understanding of how content maps to buyer journey stages, with the ability to write or edit for both top-of-funnel reach and mid-funnel progression, not just brand awareness
Working knowledge of tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, or Clearscope for keyword research, content gap analysis, and performance tracking
Hands-on experience with SEO and a strong grasp of AEO and GEO, including structuring content for LLM citation, building FAQ schema, optimizing for featured snippets, and writing for better SERP ranking
Hands-on experience building AI-assisted workflows using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or other LLMs for research, drafting, repurposing, and QA, not just prompting
Ability to audit an existing content library for AI-readiness and implement improvements (schema markup, internal linking, etc.) that increase visibility in generative search platforms and search engines
Comfort experimenting with and evaluating new AI tools as they emerge, and documenting repeatable processes for the team
Familiarity with Webflow for content publishing and basic page management is a plus, especially updating CMS collections, meta fields, and structured content without developer support
Exposure to PR or media relations, such as building media lists, pitching reporters, or placing bylines, and comfort working with freelance writers
Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovative ideas
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
