The Role
We're scaling our go-to-market team in New York, and the people we hire there decide how fast we grow.
As our Recruiter in New York, you'll own hiring with a focus on sales, customer success and revenue operations, and support other teams as we grow, from the first conversation with the hiring manager to the signed offer.
It's a hands-on role with real ownership. You'll build the pipelines, the interview processes and the relationships with our GTM leaders that let us hire the best people in the market, quickly.
You'll report to our Head of People and work side by side with our founders, our GTM leaders and our Recruiter in Barcelona. This role is in person in our New York City office.
What You'll Do
Run GTM searches end to end: kick-off with the hiring manager, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and closing
Hire across sales, customer success and revenue operations, from SDRs and BDRs to senior account executives
Source directly and build pipelines of top performers who aren't looking yet, so most of your hires come from your own outreach
Work with GTM leaders to define what each role needs, how we assess it, including role plays and track record, and what a great candidate looks like
Close candidates with a clear and honest pitch, including how base, variable and equity work at Prosper
Give every candidate a fast and respectful process, working with our Workplace & Culture Manager in New York on scheduling and office visits
Keep Ashby up to date and report on pipeline, time to hire and conversion for each search
What We're Looking For
3+ years of full-cycle recruiting, mostly for sales and go-to-market roles at a fast-growing tech startup
You've hired account executives and SDRs and can walk us through searches you ran from kick-off to signed offer
You know how to assess sales talent: quota attainment, deal sizes, sales cycles and how to check them
Strong sourcing: you find top performers who aren't looking and get them interested in talking to us
You run several searches at once without dropping anything, and hiring managers and candidates never have to chase you for an update
You give hiring managers a clear point of view, backed by data, and push back when a process or a profile isn't working
Nice to Have:
Experience hiring for healthcare, health tech or enterprise SaaS sales teams
A network in the New York sales and startup community
Experience with Ashby or another modern applicant tracking system

A written exercise at home: how you would run one of our real GTM searches (around 1 hours)
