As a Warehouse Associate focused on the picking and packing of customer orders, you’ll be an essential part of bringing book fair magic to life and ensuring timely shipments to our customers. You’ll be responsible for picking and packing fixtures, fulfilling daily orders, counting inventory, loading, and unloading trucks, moving products, and processing returns safely. This role will require the training in and use of PIT equipment, specifically the order picker (reach truck), cherry picker and forklift. The rewards of the position are high visibility and a positive impact on literacy worldwide. Growth opportunities exist as we are a startup and anticipate robust growth in business year over year.

As a result, we like to be transparent and up-front about the compensation. The hourly rate for this role will be $17.50/hr.
Shifts available between Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

ABOUT THE ROLE
Picking, Packing, Order Fulfillment, Counting, Cycle Counts, Advertised Title Walks, QA, Transfers, Fair Production, Auditing, and Training.
Mobility and Standing: This position requires the ability to remain standing and moving throughout the entirety of the shift. Candidates should be comfortable being on their feet for extended periods of time to successfully perform job duties.
Lifting Requirements: The role involves occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees may be required to safely lift, carry, and maneuver items within this weight range as part of their regular duties.
Flexibility and Dexterity: Regular activities include bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. These movements are integral to performing tasks associated with the role, such as handling materials, operating machinery, or completing manual tasks.
