What you'll be doing:
Build the systems that turn buyer interest into revenue. As our Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll help design and automate Basis’s all-bound model: one connected motion across inbound, outbound, events, and nurture.
You’ll partner closely with our AI GTM Ops, GTM Engineers (GTMEs) and RevOps to turn that model into working systems. Together, you’ll connect account data, buyer signals, and campaign engagement to the next action: a personalized follow-up, a nurture sequence, or a timely handoff to sales. You’ll bring the marketing judgment to define what should happen and work with technical partners to build, test, and scale the automation.
You’ll own the marketing operations foundation that makes this work:
Connect the buyer journey. Partner with our RevOps and AI GTM Ops on segmentation, scoring, routing, nurture, and recycling workflows so every interaction informs what happens next.
Turn campaigns and events into pipeline. Make audience selection, lead capture, and follow-up fast, coordinated, and measurable.
Build automation that compounds. Partner with AI GTM Ops and the GTMEs to replace repetitive work with reliable workflows and improve them as you learn.
Show what drives revenue. Connect marketing spend and activity to pipeline and revenue. Help the team decide what to scale, change, or stop.
Make the systems trustworthy. Keep our CRM, marketing automation, and connected tools accurate and reliable as the business grows.
You’ll shape how marketing operations works at Basis from the ground up. The opportunity is to build a system that gets smarter and more effective with every campaign.
📍 Location: NYC, Flatiron office. In-person team.
What you'll bring:
4+ years in marketing operations, revenue operations, or demand generation at a B2B software company
Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and the integrations between them
Proven track record building lead scoring models, ICP/segmentation frameworks, and lead lifecycle processes (nurture, MQL/SQL handoff, disqualification)
Strong command of multi-touch attribution and funnel reporting—able to connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Ability to work in office in Manhattan 5 days per week
What we'd love to see:
Finance Experience: Familiarity selling or marketing into the office of the CFO (accounting, FP&A, finance teams)
Experience operationalizing field marketing and events as a pipeline source
Startup experience: Background at high-growth companies during scale phases, comfortable building process from scratch
SQL or analytics tooling experience for self-serve reporting
