Job Description:
Shield AI is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Employer Brand to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our global employer brand marketing efforts. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role responsible for shaping how we attract, engage, and convert top-tier talent across technical and mission-critical domains.
You will own the employer brand marketing strategy end-to-end—from audience segmentation and storytelling to channel strategy, campaign execution, and performance measurement. You’ll partner closely with Recruiting, Communications, and leadership to position Shield AI as a destination for builders, engineers, and operators driven by mission and impact.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution—someone who can define the vision while also building and launching campaigns in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll do:
- Lead and evolve Shield AI’s employer brand marketing strategy to attract high-caliber talent across technical, defense, and corporate functions
- Define target talent segments and craft differentiated messaging aligned to mission, product, and impact
- Shape and scale a compelling employer value proposition grounded in real employee stories and business priorities
- Define and lead Shield AI’s global employer brand social media strategy across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, emerging channels), aligned to hiring priorities and talent segments
- Own the end-to-end social ecosystem—including channel positioning, content strategy, editorial planning, publishing, and performance optimization
- Build and scale a distinct, mission-driven social voice that differentiates Shield AI and resonates with technical and mission-oriented talent
- Partner with Communications and Brand teams to ensure alignment between corporate, product, and employer narratives while tailoring for talent audiences
- Establish and operationalize a content engine for social, including employee storytelling, behind-the-scenes content, and campaign amplification
- Launch and optimize paid + organic social programs to drive awareness, engagement, and candidate conversion
- Implement testing frameworks (creative, format, audience, platform) to continuously improve performance and inform channel investment strategy
- Lead the development and execution of integrated recruitment marketing campaigns across digital, social, and emerging channels
- Own content strategy across the candidate journey—from awareness through conversion—including careers site, social media, and campaign assets
- Partner with internal teams to bring authentic employee and mission-driven stories to life
- Build scalable content and campaign frameworks that enable recruiting teams to engage talent more effectively
- Define success metrics and build reporting frameworks to measure employer brand performance across channels and campaigns
- Translate data and candidate insights into actionable recommendations that improve targeting, messaging, and conversion
- Design and execute media and channel experiments to optimize performance and inform investment strategy
- Partner closely with Recruiting, Communications, Product Marketing, and Leadership to align employer brand efforts with hiring priorities and company narrative
- Act as a thought leader and advisor to stakeholders on talent market trends, candidate behavior, and employer brand strategy
- Enable recruiters and hiring leaders with tools, insights, and best practices to strengthen candidate engagement
- Manage employer brand marketing budgets and external partners where applicable
- Identify opportunities to extend employer brand impact beyond top-of-funnel attraction into deeper stages of the candidate journey
- Build scalable systems, processes, and playbooks to support rapid company growth
