About the Role
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our customer-focused development team. At Rossum, we're revolutionizing data automation with cutting-edge AI technology, using AI agents that read documents, capture and validate data, and streamline workflows. You'll be instrumental in implementing and designing powerful integrations and creating solutions that truly add value for our customers. Your work will directly influence the stability, performance, and seamless functionality of customer solutions and their experience with our platform. You'll also enable internal teams and partners to use the platform more effectively through the development of various tools.
What You’ll Do
You'll help us with the following questions and challenges:
How can we build and maintain robust integrations that seamlessly connect our AI agents with diverse external systems like ERPs and CRMs?
What are the most effective ways to leverage REST APIs, AWS Lambdas, and various databases to create highly reliable and efficient customer solutions?
How can we ensure the solutions we build are not only performant and stable, but also empower internal teams and partners to use our platform more effectively?
You'll be responsible for:
Creating Impact: Building and maintaining solutions that connect systems, delight customers, and drive tangible results.
Collaborating: Working closely with solution architects to design solutions that align with customer needs and system architecture.
Owning Your Work: Taking responsibility for the maintenance and support of the code you build, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
Ensuring lifecycle ownership: Confidently handling monitoring, CI/CD, issue resolution, and automated testing for your solutions.

In this role, you'll directly contribute to Rossum's mission by making our customers' operations faster, smarter, and error-free, ultimately eliminating manual tasks and driving business efficiency worldwide.
You'll work closely with solution architects to design effective solutions, and your work will enable internal teams and partners to leverage the platform more effectively through various tools you develop.
You'll also have the opportunity to implement groundbreaking integrations and develop solutions that directly enhance our customers' experience with our highly innovative AI platform.

Python: Build robust connectors and solutions using Flask, FastAPI, and AWS Lambdas.
REST APIs: Integrate systems with secure and efficient protocols.

Monitoring & Logging: Utilize Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to ensure top-notch performance.
CI/CD: Leverage GitLab pipelines to streamline development processes.

Experience in Python: Skilled in creating and maintaining integrations between systems.
Technical Expertise: Familiarity with REST APIs, AWS Lambdas, and databases (both NoSQL and relational).

Agile Mindset: Proven success working in fast-paced, agile environments.
Personal Qualities: You are quality-focused and value-driven, curious and eager to learn, and open-minded with “strong opinions, weakly held.”
What Success Looks Like
Within 3 Months: You’ve comfortably found your feet within the Rossum ecosystem and started building relationships across the team , all while celebrating your first major milestone—successfully delivering your first real customer task or project.
Within 6 Months: You’re confidently taking the lead on your core responsibilities and identifying areas for strategic improvement , while actively contributing to the development of our internal tools.
Within 12 Months: You are recognized as a true go-to subject matter expert within the team —not only mastering our codebase and integrations, but also seamlessly navigating the global Coupa ecosystem to help scale Rossum’s mission worldwide using our new global resources.
