About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic Finance Lead to serve as a strategic thought partner to our Product and Engineering organizations. In this role, you will help shape how Eve evaluates product performance, prioritizes investments, thinks about pricing and monetization, and plans for future growth. You will translate product performance, customer behavior, business trends, and financial information into clear insights and recommendations for senior leaders.
This is a highly cross-functional role. You will partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership and the Executive Leadership Team. You will not be expected to build analytics infrastructure or own the production of dashboards. Instead, you will partner closely with our Analytics and Data teams to define the questions that matter, interpret the data, and turn analysis into sound business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience in strategic finance, product finance, FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, growth finance, or a related field, ideally including experience at a high-growth technology company.
- Experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, or other business leaders on growth, investment, pricing, monetization, or strategic planning decisions.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including experience building forecasts, business cases, financial models, and analyses that connect business performance to strategic decisions.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to evaluate opportunities, tradeoffs, and risks in a fast-moving and evolving environment.
- Experience working with product, customer, operational, and financial data to understand business performance and inform decision-making.
- Ability to partner effectively with Analytics and Data teams, including the ability to define the questions and business problems that need to be solved and translate analytical outputs into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to translate complex financial and business information into clear, concise recommendations for senior leadership.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, combined with comfort making decisions when data is imperfect and the business is evolving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create executive-ready materials and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. MBA preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Product Finance, Strategic Finance, FP&A, or a similar role at a high-growth SaaS, technology, AI, or software company.
- Experience supporting product-led, usage-based, subscription, or other recurring-revenue business models.
- Experience evaluating pricing, packaging, monetization, or product economics.
- Experience building business cases and financial models for new products, strategic initiatives, or significant investments.
- Experience working in an AI, legal technology, or other rapidly evolving technology environment.
- Experience partnering with data and analytics teams to support product and business decision-making.
- Experience working in a company undergoing rapid growth and organizational scaling.
Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, interview performance, and the scope and level of the role and candidate.
